AI tools for affiliate marketing are most useful when you choose them by task—not by how many tools you can afford. A general assistant can help plan an affiliate article or write a video script. A publishing platform can move drafts into WordPress. A voice or video editor can turn an approved message into something you can share. None of those jobs is the same as testing a product or earning a reader’s trust.
This decision guide compares eight tools across seven jobs: keyword and niche research, outlines and copy, long-form drafting, bulk content, WordPress publishing, narration and video editing. We cover ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Koala AI, ZimmWriter, Contentosapp Studio, ElevenLabs and CapCut—with prices, platform limits, and the human work each leaves unfinished.
How we researched it: We checked official product pages and documentation on October 26, 2026, plus Google Search Central and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). We did not independently benchmark all eight tools, so feature claims are attributed to their providers, not presented as hands-on results. The Afiliado do Zero workflow provides a published example of how a beginner combines several of them. Prices are USD unless otherwise noted and can change.
Disclosure: Contentosapp Studio is made by the publisher of this website. We include it because WordPress publishing is one of the jobs being compared; it is not a top-ranked winner, and this comparison does not claim independent testing of competing products. Tool links below are editorial references, not evidence that we have personally tested each service.
Decision summary: which AI tool fits your affiliate marketing job?
If your affiliate site already produces useful reviews, the tool decision is about reducing a specific bottleneck. If you have no first-hand product information, buying a bulk writer is unlikely to fix the underlying weakness. The useful distinction is between assistance (ideas, outlines, drafts), production infrastructure (batch content and WordPress delivery) and media editing (narration and video).
- New affiliate with little budget: use a free general assistant for topic clustering and a draft outline, then verify demand with search data and gather evidence yourself.
- Affiliate writing product comparisons: choose a drafting tool you can feed documented specifications and your own notes; publish only claims you can support.
- Publisher managing WordPress: compare Koala AI, ZimmWriter and Contentosapp Studio on how they deliver editable drafts, handle integrations and charge for usage.
- Faceless video creator: compare narration and editing separately, and check the license on the generated voice, music, clips and templates.
There is no best overall tool in this guide. Someone writing one carefully researched review a month has different needs from a Windows-based operator preparing a batch of roundups, or a WordPress publisher who wants a reviewable draft in the editor. Our comparisons are based on documented features and prices, not performance scores or promises of rankings.
The jobs in a real affiliate workflow
The Brazilian publisher Afiliado do Zero published a Portuguese-language, seven-step guide to using AI for affiliate sales on June 19, 2026. Its workflow assigns Gemini to niche and keyword ideas, ChatGPT to outlines, copy and scripts, Claude to longer drafts written section by section, ElevenLabs to voice narration and CapCut to editing. It also mentions Leonardo AI or Canva AI for illustrations, and MailerLite or Systeme.io for email sequences. Those additional services are outside this eight-tool comparison.
That is a useful workflow example, not a scientific test proving that each named tool outperforms its competitors. We also would not use its suggested chatbot search-volume estimates as measurements: a model can propose keywords, but volume and difficulty should come from a reliable SEO dataset. The guide’s most transferable advice is to verify statistics, replace generic statements and add your own experience before publishing.
Five practical steps from initial research to publishing, with human verification before recommendations reach your audience.
AI can accelerate planning, writing and production. Product claims, real-world experience and affiliate disclosures still require human verification.
-
Research
Use AI to explore niches, topics and search intent. Validate keyword demand with a reliable SEO dataset rather than treating chatbot estimates as measured search volumes.
AI assistance + verified data -
Outline
Organize the reader’s question, buying criteria and relevant product information into a useful structure. Include meaningful comparison points and limitations.
AI-assisted editorial planning -
Draft
Use ChatGPT, Claude or a specialized writing tool to produce the first draft from available sources and editorial notes. Do not invent product tests, measurements or testimonials.
AI-assisted content production -
Verify Human approval gate
Check product specifications, prices and factual claims against reliable sources. Add genuine first-hand evidence when available, explain meaningful drawbacks and place clear affiliate disclosures near relevant recommendations or links.
Owner: Human editor Do not publish an AI-generated recommendation until its claims, evidence and required disclosures have been reviewed and approved. -
Publish & Repurpose
Publish the approved content to WordPress. Adapt verified information into narration, short videos or other formats. Check commercial-use rights for media assets and include appropriate disclosures in each format.
Owner: Publishing & media team
Specialized services add the next layer. Koala AI can generate articles and send them to WordPress; ZimmWriter offers Windows-based bulk production and WordPress publishing; and Contentosapp Studio produces WordPress drafts through a multi-agent workflow. That increased throughput can be useful, but it also makes editorial mistakes easier to repeat.
AI tools for affiliate marketing compared: eight options
The table separates what the provider documents from what we have actually tested. WordPress support refers to documented direct publishing or draft delivery; a generic assistant may still participate through other integrations. Free access does not necessarily mean commercial rights or unlimited usage. Prices and plan details checked October 26, 2026.
Compare documented capabilities, platform requirements, billing and what still needs human review.

Add accurate affiliate disclosures where needed. |
| Claude General AI assistant Long-form drafting, document analysis and research synthesis. | Platform Web, desktop and mobile Pricing Free or Pro Pro: $20/month, or $17/month on annual billing ($200 upfront). | Not established as native The cited overview does not document a built-in direct WordPress publishing workflow. | Check product evidence Verify all factual claims and add genuine product experience or clearly identified research evidence. |
| Gemini General AI assistant Niche ideas, keyword grouping and brainstorming. | Platform Web and mobile Pricing Free tier U.S. paid plans listed from $4.99/month. | Not established as native Direct WordPress publishing is not established by the cited product overview. | Validate keyword data Check search volume, difficulty and demand in a reliable SEO data source. Do not treat generated keyword estimates as measured data. |
| Koala AI Hosted content platform SEO articles, bulk creation and WordPress delivery. | Platform Hosted online platform Pricing Starter: $25/month One-time free allowance: 5,000 words and 25 credits. Starter includes 45,000 KoalaWriter words and 500 credits per month. | Direct delivery documented WordPress drafts or automatic publication, according to the provider. | Review research and drafts Verify product information, evidence, links and affiliate disclosures before publication. |
| ZimmWriter Bulk content software Batch articles, product roundups and WordPress scheduling. | Platform Windows desktop Pricing $24.97/month Or $247/year, plus your own model/API costs. | Direct delivery documented WordPress publishing and scheduled distribution, according to the provider. | Review every batch Check product evidence, factual claims, content duplication, usage rights and disclosure. Bulk capacity does not establish SEO quality. |
| Contentosapp Studio WordPress content plugin Multi-agent research, drafting and editorial production in WordPress. Made by this website’s publisher. | Platform WordPress plugin Pricing BYOK: no plugin fee Your AI provider bills model usage separately. Optional managed ContentOS Auto service. | WordPress-native workflow Generates WordPress drafts or published posts, as described by the publisher. Editorial review before publishing is recommended. | Verify sources and approve Check generated research, product evidence, claims, originality and disclosure. The plugin does not independently test products. |
| ElevenLabs AI narration platform Text-to-speech voiceovers for affiliate videos and audio content. | Platform Online text-to-speech service Pricing Free to try Commercial usage rights require an eligible paid plan. | Different publishing job Produces audio for use in videos and other content, rather than publishing WordPress articles. | Check scripts and licenses Verify narration accuracy, pronunciation, commercial rights and advertising disclosures. |
| CapCut Video editing platform Video editing, captions and AI-assisted creative. | Platform Online, desktop and mobile Pricing Free online option Paid features and availability vary. | Different publishing job Produces and exports video content rather than WordPress posts. | Check footage and rights Confirm commercial-use rights for music, clips, templates and other assets. Verify factual content and affiliate disclosures. |
The two critical distinctions: WordPress delivery is documented for ZimmWriter as well as Koala AI and Contentosapp Studio; and ElevenLabs free-tier audio is not a commercial-use shortcut. Those facts can change a buyer’s choice more than a generic feature score. Check the current documentation before subscribing.
Tool-by-tool analysis: capabilities and limits
ChatGPT — outlines, copy and scripts
In the Afiliado do Zero guide, ChatGPT turns a researched topic into an outline, affiliate copy and short-video scripts. That is a sensible starting use for a general assistant: provide the audience, comparison criteria, product documentation and the claims you can actually substantiate, then request a draft structure. OpenAI’s Help Center documents free and paid access and warns that output can be incorrect or invented.
Consider it when: you need planning and copy variations before another subscription. Do not rely on it for: independently measured keyword volumes, imaginary product tests, fabricated testimonials or automatic compliant disclosures. You retain responsibility for checking claims and following applicable terms. Direct WordPress publishing is not a feature established by the cited general ChatGPT documentation; using an integration is a different setup.
Claude — long-form drafting and analysis
The beginner workflow uses Claude for longer article sections, developed from an outline rather than generated blindly in one pass. Anthropic describes Claude as an assistant for reasoning, writing, files, drafts and information synthesis. Those abilities help when you want to compare product documentation with an editorial brief, flag contradictions or turn notes into a draft. They do not create genuine product ownership or use.
Consider it when: you work from sizeable notes and want section-by-section iteration. As of October 26, 2026, Free is $0; Pro is $20 monthly or $17 per month on annual billing ($200 charged upfront). Usage limits apply. The reviewed overview does not establish native WordPress publishing; if that is the bottleneck, evaluate a dedicated connection or publishing workflow.
Gemini — ideas and first-pass research
Gemini can help brainstorm niches, group search intent, outline questions and create an initial list of angles to investigate. Google’s product documentation describes writing, brainstorming and learning tasks, while warning that factual output may be inaccurate. The Afiliado do Zero workflow assigns Gemini to early niche and keyword research; that is an editorial method, not evidence that the app directly supplies reliable keyword metrics.
Consider it when: you want to test topics using a free assistant before purchasing specialized tools. The U.S. Gemini app has a free tier, with paid options listed from $4.99 per month as of the review date. For a publishing decision, check estimated volume and difficulty in a dedicated keyword tool and compare with your own Search Console data; do not paste an unverified AI estimate into a client report.
Koala AI — hosted bulk creation and WordPress drafts
Koala AI markets KoalaWriter for SEO-oriented article creation, bulk workflows, internal linking, live SERP information and direct publishing. Its site documents WordPress as well as other destinations, and a choice between sending drafts for human review and automatic publication. These are vendor-described capabilities, not outcomes we independently benchmarked. For an affiliate publisher, the useful question is whether the time saved still leaves room for checking product evidence and recommendations.
The pricing page lists a one-time free allowance of 5,000 KoalaWriter words and 25 credits. Starter is $25/month with 45,000 words and 500 credits; annual billing is advertised at 20% off. The MCP server is included on paid plans, not the free tier. Fit: someone wanting a hosted article workflow rather than a Windows application. For alternatives with different controls and billing, see our Koala AI alternatives guide.
ZimmWriter — Windows bulk content and WordPress scheduling
ZimmWriter is a Windows application built around bring-your-own API keys. Its official page advertises batches of up to 1,000 blog posts, up to 50 affiliate product roundups at a time, integrations for product boxes and optional DataForSEO research. Importantly, the vendor also explicitly documents direct WordPress publishing and scheduled distribution across multiple sites. Product-box integrations and publishing are separate capabilities; both should be reflected in any comparison.
The vendor lists $24.97/month or $247/year, plus your own model/API bills. Fit: a Windows publisher with an established editorial review process and genuine product data, especially for batch roundups. Risk: the same bulk features could multiply thin pages or rewritten third-party material without meaningful added value, a concern under Google’s scaled-content and thin-affiliation policies. See our ZimmWriter alternatives comparison for other production approaches.
Contentosapp Studio — WordPress-native editorial pipeline (our product)
Publisher disclosure: Contentosapp Studio is our product. Its WordPress.org listing describes a seven-agent system—Discoverer, Strategist, Researcher, Writer, Editorial Reviewer, Visual Designer and Social Media—that prepares a sourced draft inside WordPress, including visual directions and structured-data planning. It supports different article types, brand-voice settings and publication to a WordPress destination. It is not a voice or video editor, and its generated research still requires checking before publication.
In bring-your-own-key mode, the plugin has no per-article plugin fee or local article allowance; your OpenAI, Gemini or Anthropic provider charges for AI usage under its own terms. An optional ContentOS Auto service handles model access separately. Our product site describes these choices. Fit: a WordPress publisher who wants the research-to-draft workflow inside the CMS and a human approval step. A first-party sample from our own workflow (24 productions using Claude Sonnet 5.5 at October 2026 list prices) averaged approximately $0.49 in model costs and 15.4 minutes of model processing per article. This is not a competitor benchmark, a total production cost or a promise of similar results. There is no independent evidence in this article that its output ranks better than competing tools.

ElevenLabs — narration for videos and audio
ElevenLabs provides text-to-speech narration, including Portuguese voices, for explainers, demonstrations and faceless videos. It is free to try, but there is a licensing distinction for affiliate marketers: ElevenLabs’ documentation states that commercial usage rights require a paid plan, subject to its terms and the rights you hold in the input material.
Fit: you already have a verified script and need a consistent voice track. Review the narration against the script, check pronunciation and use a subscription that covers your intended monetized use. Voice generation does not turn stock footage into first-hand product testing, and an affiliate video still needs a clear disclosure of any paid relationship.
CapCut — editing, captions and video production
CapCut provides video editing, captions, text-to-speech and AI-assisted visuals across online and downloadable editors. The company advertises an online free starting option. For an affiliate creator, that makes it a production tool for cutting demonstrations, creating short clips and repurposing an already fact-checked script—not a replacement for independent product knowledge.
Fit: faceless social-video workflows that still contain original demonstrations, screenshots or useful commentary. Before monetizing, check each included stock clip, soundtrack and template: CapCut says templates and materials must be labeled for commercial use when used in commercial projects. A free editor and a free-to-use commercial asset are not the same thing.
What Google and the FTC still require from affiliate content
No product in this comparison can make an affiliate page valuable merely by making it longer or producing it faster. Google defines thin affiliation around affiliate pages that reuse merchant descriptions or reviews with little original value. The same policy addresses scaled production undertaken primarily to manipulate search rankings rather than help users. That is why “1,000 posts in one click” is a capacity claim, not an SEO strategy—and why a human review has to change the substance of the page, not just swap adjectives.
For product reviews, Google recommends original evidence, meaningful comparisons, quantitative information when available and clear strengths and weaknesses grounded in your research or experience. You can use AI to organize observations, but do not claim to have handled a product, run a test or observed results that you have not. If you have only public product documentation, say so and label the piece a documented feature comparison rather than a hands-on review.

U.S. affiliate disclosure: The FTC’s Endorsement Guides FAQ advises disclosing an affiliate relationship clearly and conspicuously, close to the relevant recommendation. A useful example is: “I may earn a commission if you purchase through links in this post.” A blanket notice on the home page is not a substitute. For affiliate videos, the FTC also discusses disclosure in the video and near links in its description. Requirements elsewhere may differ; check the rules for your audience and market.

I earn a commission if you purchase through the link below.
Tell readers about a material affiliate relationship clearly and conspicuously. Position the disclosure where readers will notice it alongside the relevant endorsement or affiliate link. Do not rely solely on a general disclosure page or a vague “affiliate link” label.
A practical stack can therefore be modest: use a free assistant to plan, choose a specialist only when a real production bottleneck appears, and keep one review gate between any AI output and your published recommendation. If you are considering how to increase volume without eroding usefulness, see our guide to scaling a niche site with AI content.

Frequently asked questions
Which AI tools do affiliate marketers actually need?
Start with one general assistant for ideas and drafts, then add a tool only for a job you cannot efficiently do already: bulk WordPress delivery, voiceover or video editing. Product testing, accurate claims and disclosures remain your responsibility.
Can you use ChatGPT for affiliate marketing?
Yes. It can help draft outlines, descriptions, emails and video scripts. Verify factual statements and never present invented product testing or fabricated customer testimonials as genuine. Affiliate disclosures apply to compensated recommendations regardless of how the wording was drafted.
Does Google penalize AI-written affiliate content?
Not solely because AI helped produce it. Google’s spam policies target thin affiliate pages and scaled content primarily made to manipulate rankings rather than help users. Add original value, check accuracy and avoid mass-publishing near-duplicates.
Can AI write product reviews for affiliate sites?
It can help structure a review or summarize documentation, but it cannot truthfully claim to have tested a product for you. Document your own experience and measurements when possible; otherwise identify the article as a research-based comparison.
Do affiliate links in AI-written posts need disclosure?
For U.S.-facing endorsements, the FTC expects clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections, placed near the recommendation or link. AI-written copy is not exempt. In other regions, follow the local advertising and consumer-protection rules too.
Which AI tools are free to start for affiliates?
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini have free-access options; Koala AI has a one-time free allowance; CapCut offers a free online editing option; and ElevenLabs is free to try but requires a paid plan for commercial use of generated audio. Contentosapp Studio has no plugin fee in BYOK mode, but provider API usage is billed.
Where to start: test one task before building a stack
Take the article you would publish next. Identify its bottleneck, choose one relevant tool from the matrix, and produce a draft for review. Record the research time, editing time, provider charges and the corrections you had to make. Repeat with another piece of similar complexity. This is a more useful buying test than a vendor promise about how many posts you could generate per hour.
Before anything goes live, ask: What original, checkable value did we add that a generic merchant-description rewrite would not contain? If you cannot answer that, you do not need a faster publisher yet—you need better evidence and a better editorial process.
